BEHIND THE LENS
Hello, My name is Adam J. Van Becelaere and I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit Fire Medic Photography. I am still in the developmental phase of building the company and expect to be open for business by early October, 2020.
I recently started Fire Medic Photography as the result of peer pressure. I have fallen in love with photography over the last several years and thanks to the gentle nudges of friends and family I have been able to step out into the business world as a part time photographer. I am a 21 year veteran of Emergency Medical Services and spent 14 of those years as a volunteer and full-time Fire Fighter. I have thoroughly loved my career since day one, but I am now ready to start working on chapter 2 of my professional life.
I am happily married to my amazing and beautiful bride of 18 years, Christy. Christy is an amazing quilter and recently started her own business, Sweet Pea's Quilts and Quilting. Together, we have a 16 year old son, Xander, who has just started to fall for my passion of photography. Xander is a Junior at Ozark High School and is an Offensive Lineman on the JV squad.
Ultimately, I owe a great deal of gratitude to one of my best friends and work partner, Brandon Foster, for his constant support. Brandon, currently a Paramedic, previously worked as a photojournalist and has shared his love and expertise for photography with me (and some of his equipment) all because he loves to see someone develop a passion for something that he loves to do.
My current passion lies in landscape photography, however, I am starting to branch out into portrait photography. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your family, friends, or business to meet any of your photographic needs.
